...the life of a working single momma. 6 months later, Blog #2. Ah well, it only means I'm keeping busy. Nothing wrong with busy. Through the holiday season, flu season, and into another new year. Yesterday, I had a very nice lunch with my always-inspiring, and super talented photographer & fellow designer friend, Kristen, of K. Holly Studios. Always a pleasure! And more than that, she makes me feel creative; creativity just flows from this girl non-stop. She reminds me of the importance of making time for the people and things we love. And so here I am, plugging along at yet another start after a long pause. 
One thing I have been working on lately are is handful of posters for my favorite Ada bar & restaurant, the Nighthawk. You can see the newest additions here. And so it goes...I have wonderful intentions to keep up my lil' website...to blog on a regular basis. In time...

So...out of the blue that was my Monday after vacation, I decided I needed a new website design. I've left behind the blog on the old, and begun new for a number of reasons. Reason #1 being this site won't allow me to retrieve my old posts on WordPress.

I'm OK with starting new. I've gotten used to many changes in my life over recent months. I have been knocked down. It may take time and many hands along the way, but I’ll stand again. My day to day is different now and the work I love has taken a back seat, as it should, to my beautiful girls and my responsibilities.

That said, I am a multi-tasker at heart and I have ignored my new home office long enough. I’m ready to begin again, maybe for different reasons, different goals. I appreciate all the support in the past from so many good friends, colleagues, and of course my family. I hope that I validate that support and continue to do so in the future.
